Imagination sparked a vision and a mission to be a part of the creative, developmental growth of a young child and it brought us all here today.
This is how Alma’s Designs started, with a little spark of the imagination of an energetic couple who had a desire to provide their children, grandchildren and friends’ children quality, safe, educational toys. Our namesake, Alma, was an educator herself and understood the developmental needs of children from the cognitive, emotional and social realms. Alma began designing safe, soft fabric toys with these key factors in mind and making and sharing them with family and friends. Her toys became so popular that she and her husband decided to take their toys to a larger audience and make them available to educational and toy stores locally in California and eventually across the country.
After many successful years creating toys and operating Alma’s Designs, she and her husband decided to a company that has an interest in family products and toys that support the development and growth of young children, Farallon Brands.
